Platinum 900 (tensile strength up to 20,000psi)
Platinum is a very heavy
precious metal which retains its high luster polish. It is a traditional and
classic metal used in the creation of wedding rings. Although being quite heavy
it is fairly soft. It can dent. Scratches can be deep, but are possible to be
buffed out.
Yellow Gold (tensile strength up to 18,000psi)
18k Yellow gold, is made up
of 75% gold and is alloyed with other metals which make it strong enough to
withstand every-day wear.
14K Yellow gold is used on our Sculpted models, 14K
is softer than 18K gold, and this allows it to be machined with patterned
carving.
White Gold (tensile strength up to 18,000psi)
18k White gold, is made up
of 75% gold and is alloyed with other metals which make it strong enough to
withstand every-day wear.
Pink Gold (tensile strength up to 18,000psi)
18K Pink Gold, is made up of
75% gold and is alloyed with other metals which make it strong enough to
withstand every-day wear.
Pink gold is alloyed with copper to add the pretty
pink tone.
950 Silver
At IMPORTEX we use Fine Silver, 958 - 95.8 percent pure
silver. Silver is a very soft metal and easily scratches.
It will tarnish over
